Head shots are probably one of my favorite styles to photograph animals because these shots afford the opportunity for your viewer to connect with your subject. Yup! It's all about the eyes. Head shots are more easily achieved if your subject is sitting down, so you can zoom in and isolate the head and shoulders - that is of course if your subject cooperates.
